Argonaut
My thanks to Bill for sending photos of his Columbus Max fork along with these comments, "This is the fork for my new Argonaut. The frame is currently being painted at Spectrum Powder Works. The fork is MAX with a nickel plated fork crown and Llewellen dropouts. I'll send pictures of the frame after paint."

Eddy Merckx
My thanks to Martin from Germany that sends these images of a 1994 Eddy Merckx catalog featuring an MX-Leader. Of particular interest is the text on the first page and the diagrams showing where the tubeset ovalization is. The text indicates that the MX frame is built of different Columbus tubes: Max, Minimax (top tube) and SLX (seat and chain stay).
